Nicolapillai Patrick Jeganathan, former member of the Ceylon Civil Service
(C.C.S), later Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS), Retired Govt. Agent of
Mannar, Jaffna, Permanent Secretary, also former Lecturer of University of Sri
Lanka (Colombo campus), Old Distinguished Patrician, passed away in Toronto on
March 18th 2009. Very much loved husband of late Theresa Leelawathie Jeganathan
(nee Thiruchelvam) loving father of Ayun Lankatharan (Lanka), Damian
Ruhunatharan (Ruhuna), Harry Rajatharan (Rajan), Paul Jeyatharan (Jeyam), Ivan
Ratnatharan (Ratna), Mary Manothari (Mano) Celsus and Charmaine Srithari (Sri)
Thayaparan. Fond son of late Nicholapillai Muthiah and late Agnes Annammah and
son-in-law of late B.S. Thiruchelvam and late Sabina. Sadly missed and dearly
adored grandfather of Antony, Andrew, Nicolas, Leann, Patrick, Adrian, Moire,
Kristine, Priyanka, Joshua and Aundre. Cherished father-in-law of Dr Rubini,
Sashikala, Karuni, Suchitra, Celsus and Thayaparan. Funeral will take place on
March 28th (Saturday) 2009 at Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, North
York, Ontario, Canada.

and Hesper, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on the 20th March 2009.
