Radio frequency identity cards for CFHC employees

Ceylon Fisheries Harbour Corporation (CFHC) affiliated to the Ministry Of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources introduce new chip system Radio Frequency Identity Card (RFIC) for Ceylon Fisheries Harbour Corporation employees recently.According to Ministry sources this Identity Card is the first Radio Frequency Identity Card issued by a government institution.The card has been created systematically comprising all officially needed bio-data of the employees. No alterations can be made in the card by anyone.The Identity Cards were issued to the employees of the Ceylon Fisheries Harbour Corporation in the first stage.

There are fifteen fisheries harbours around Sri Lanka and the employees of these harbours will also be issued RFIC shortly according to the Corporation sources.
