passed away in the Arms of his loving wife Christine and his daughter
Charlotte. This amazing man lost his brave battle against cancer while
at his home in England. He will be so deeply missed by all who knew and
loved him. The funeral took place on Friday August 20, 2010 at the
Heritage Cemetery & Crematorium, Hastings England. A Memorial Service
will be held in Sri Lanka when his daughter Charlotte visits in January

DE FONSEKA - DOUGLAS eldest son of late Dr Albert
& Phyllis de Fonseka of Panadura, beloved husband of Chandra, loving father of
Sheree, (the late) Ajit, Sheami & Dhyan, father-in-law of Himanthe Dewendre &
Shanika and dearest grandfather of Shaneen, passed away on the 6th of August. As
