Holiday makers throng Nuwara Eliya

There is a large crowd of holiday makers during the August 'Mini
Season' at Nuwara Eliya. The Resort is full up with both locals and
foreigners enjoying the Nuwara Eliya's salubrious climes at the moment.
According to the Deputy General Manager of the Grand Hotel here, the
large holiday crowds were mainly due to the present landing of Sea
Planes at the Lake Gregory, and also the Kandy Annual and historical
Perahara'a crowd visiting here.
Several of the other Hotels and Guest houses too are full up during
this season, and the large holiday crowds are from the middle east
countries inspite of their Ramadan Festivals.
