Chamara and Dilruwan pilot Unichela to victory
Sri Lanka players, Chamara Silva and Dilruwan Perera propelled
Unichela to a five wicket win over the unbeaten ETI team to enter the
final of the MCA "Centenary Year" 2011, Invitational 20/20 Super
Tournament, the Semi-Finals played at Colts Grounds yesterday.
Chamara Silva stroked a fluant 54 in 27 balls and Dilruwan Perera
finished with best bowling figures of 5 for 21 in four overs.
In the afternoon Semi-Final, spinner Akshu Fernando (4/26) bowled SLC
U-20 XI to a convincing 19-run win over the experienced HNB team.-Yasoda
Lanka continued with his good form stroking a well compiled 40 in 34
balls with 2 sixes and 5 fours to help SLC U-20 team to a respectable
148 all out in 19.5 overs.
