Mission to Norway - a boost to ICT industry
The Sri Lanka-Norway Business Match Making Program (BMMP) of The
Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), to promote joint ventures and exchange
of technical expertise between Sri Lanka and Norway, organised an ICT
delegation to Oslo, Norway in collaboration with Advance Business
partner AS Norway recently. Financial assistance to the BMMP is provided
by Norwegian Agency for Development Corporation (NORAD).
A seminar on business matchmaking opportunities with Norway was held
in August where over 50 Sri Lankan ICT company representatives took part
and the e-Match portal was introduced for the first time to Sri Lanka.
e-Match (www.ematch.eu), is a shared platform for business and
innovation matchmaking that allows companies to increase its visibility,
search for partners and maximise its opportunities with potential
partners. It was instrumental in selecting matching companies to take
part in the delegation.
