SHINYA, EMSLIE - Our dear Emslie passed away
peacefully on 5th February 2012 after a brief illness. Wife of the late “Shin”,
mother of Sambo, Kshamalee and Deshika, mother-in-law of Maureen, Bernard and
Tyrrell, sister of the late Maureen Gooneratne and Aurele Samuel. Survived by
sisters Lorna Samarasinghe and Vilma Jarman, and brother-in-law of Ernie Jarman.
Private Cremation in Canada as per her wishes. A memorial service and the
interment of ashes will take place in Sri Lanka on a date to be announced
