Lalith Athulathmudali death anniversary tomorrow
The nineteenth death anniversary of Lalith Athulathmudali organised
by the Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund and the Lalith
Athulathmudali Commemorative Foundation Centre will be held on April 23,
26 and 27.
April 23: 8.00 a.m. Floral tributes at the statue at Royal College,
Flower Road, junction; 10.00 a.m.: Floral tributes at the statue at
Galle Road, Ratmalana (opposite Maliban); 5.15 p.m.: Memorial lecture at
the BMICH, BCIS Hall by D.E.W. Gunesekera, Senior Minister of Human
Resources.
Thursday: 11.00 a.m.: - Dana for the Maha Sangha at the Paramadhamma
Chetiya Pirivena, Ratmalana.
Friday: 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. - Annual blood donation campaign at
Dharmendraramaya temple, Galle Road, Mt.Lavinia (adjoining the Court
premises.)
