Stray dogs rounded up in Tangalle

The stray dogs population has increased in Netolpitiya, Tangalle. They have become a nuisance to residents, pedestrians and a hazard to motorists especially the motorcyclists.

The dog-catchers of the Tangalle Pradeshiya Sabha were seen in action last Tuesday and raised objections to being photographed. Fate of the animals was not divulged either.
