Paasku is directed by Sunil Kosta, music direction by Dinesh Subasinghe and make-up by Wasantha Vittachchi. It is produced by Prem Fernando.

The special feature of the tele-film is that 25 veteran film stars are starring with Jeevan.

Paasku will bring ‘alive’ the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

“Last year’s Easter Sunday Paasku was shown as a stage show at the Thambakanda Church.

I played the role of Jesus Christ. Even in the tele-film , I am acting the role of Jesus Christ”, Jeevan said. “I have had many requests to act in various roles but I have declined the offers.

“I am unable to accept them because of the workload in the Postal Ministry of which I am the Minister.

“Although my hobby is acting work constraints prevent me from being involved in my acting pursuits.

“However, if the role is challenging I will certainly accept it. I have been offered a role as a hero in a film.

“There has been no film depicting patriots of the country. It has not happened in the recent past,” he said.
