Logos Hope in Colombo:

Connecting through on-board events

Many exciting experiences await the young and the old on board the Logos Hope. The unique ship offers exclusive on-board events for people of all ages, in addition to an array of quality books at affordable prices.

The highlights of the ship’s visit is the “English Café” from September 7 – 20. Here you step into a café of colours and extravaganza for the youth and adults alike. You have the opportunity to mingle and chat with English speakers from around the world, while enjoying cultural items, music and stories that will take your breath away! In addition to the public events offered on board the ship, the crew members will take part in various practical service projects in Colombo and the suburbs. One of the projects includes a team working on a house building project in Galle. It entails demolishing the old house and cultivating a garden in its place.

The Logos Hope offers a selection of over 5,000 titles at affordable prices. They cover a range of subjects including science, sports, hobbies, and family life. With children’s titles, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases and more, the book fair is something the whole family can enjoy.

The rest of the Visitor Experience deck is also open for the public to explore. From the Welcome Area, introducing the new vessel through a short movie and interactive introduction, to the International Café, serving ice creams, drinks and snacks, there is sure to be something for everyone.
