CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER 

This will be one of the most exciting and challenging jobs in Sri Lanka. The role relates to identifying optimum areas for foreign investment, interacting with potential investors, generating investment and supporting and developing existing BOI ventures for further growth. 

The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) which has a very good track record in generating investment is the authority for the approval of foreign direct investment and the granting of incentives relating to tax, customs duties and exchange control. 

Applicants should be graduates of a recognized    university or should have recognized professional qualifications.

The preferred age group is 40 - 50 years.

They should have a minimum of 15 years of good commercial experience relating to marketing of goods, services or products, and should not be in top management.

Applicants should also have good experience and outstanding abilities in planning and organization. They should be extroverts, highly energetic, enthusiastic and very good at communication with an excellent command of English.

Remuneration is negotiable and will be benchmarked with current practice in the private sector.
