REDI-to-Wear award for local company E-Trade (Private) Limited was awarded the 'Herrenberg Trophy' at the recently concluded REDI-to-Wear Distributors' Conference in Hong Kong. REDI-to-Wear is an electronic data interchange toolkit that enables Asian textile and garment suppliers to exchange ordering, production and shipping information with 16 major overseas buyers including Gap Inc, Liz Claiborne, Abercrombie and Fitch, L.L. Bean, Brooks Brothers and Debenhams. REDI-to-Wear also enables its users to better manage both their internal processes and the global supply chain thus providing the opportunity for increased efficiency, more management control and greater profitability. To date more than 200 copies of REDI-to-Wear have been installed in 15 countries. |
