KANAGASABAPATHY SAMUEL S.   Son of late Mr and Mrs J.T.A. Sithaparapillai, father of Niroshini (U.K.), grandfather of Andrew (U.K.), beloved brother of Sathiabama and S.B. OBEYESEKERE ­ EUGENIE   It is with much sadness that the family announces her passing at the Sunnybrook and Women’s Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Canada on January 16th, 2002, in her 87th year, after a lengthy illness faced with courage, determination and dignity. Beloved wife of the late St. Elmo Obeyesekere, dearly loved mother of Susantha and his wife Maureen, Suranganie, Upali and his wife Tamara, cherished grandmother of Jude and his wife Joanne, Drake, Josephine, Adrian and his wife Michelle, Brian, Anne and Tanya, Treasured great-grandmother of Ryan, Jennifer and Jonas, dear sister of Ben and his wife Pearl, Camillus and his wife Agnes and the late Mary Herat, Cyril De S. Wijetunga, Leonara Mendis, Winifred Wiratunga and Florence Ratnachandra, survived by many nephews, nieces and their families. At her request the interment of her cremated remains will take place in the family vault in Kurunegala at a later date.
