Focus
on negotiation skills
The Library and Information Centre Committee of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) has organised a presentation and discussion on 'Negotiation skills' on January 31 at the CIMA Secretariat. The objective of the presentation is to impress upon the participants the importance of a formal approach to negotiations both in their professional and personal lives and facilitate the discovery of the importance of a win-win approach. Mr. Harsha Fernando, practising Attorney-at-Law, engaged in industrial relations issues and alternate dispute resolution mechanisms including commercial arbitration, will present his analysis and thereafter lead the discussion. Mr. Fernando is a senior visiting lecturer of the Post Graduate Institute of Management of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura. |
