New e-range of products in market

IE Labs, an electronic and information technology laboratory in Sri Lanka, launched its latest e-range IT-based products for the global market recently.

IE Labs, a division of the IE Group, while facilitating research and development (R&D) for the group companies, focuses on providing large scale R&D in electronics and IT for the corporate sector for customised solutions.

Among the new products is Live Imager, a digital 3D imaging, desktop studio said to be the first of its kind in the world. This concept by Temptation Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. will primarily enable the user to generate three dimensional rotatable images to place on the web instead of still images.

Software, which is bundled with the unit, developed by IE Labs in collaboration with University of Colombo, provides manoeuvrability with a 360 degree turn table and lights while any web or digital camera in the market of any Windows or macintosh platform. Can be used with the Live Image.

A low cost building automation pack and a range of digital displays which can be customised were also launched.
