Miracle mask to beat ageing

by Neomi Kodikara

The first signs of ageing is a much dreaded phenomenon. Skin begins to sag. Tautness disappears; freshness and radiance are no more. But all is not lost. Deep within your skin lies the signs of youth - smooth facial contour, unblemished skin and tone. Is there anyway to get back that lost youth?

Massaging the face with nutritional aromatic oil. Application of the first mask Gauze is placed over first mask, in preparation for the second layer mask Application of the second layer mask

A unique face mask that could be the answer to all facial beauty disorders is Styl'mask-2. It is a face mask made with over 30 different plant extracts and essential oils and claims to have everything needed to repair and care for the skin.

"Styl'mask-2 has shown good results, actively diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and age spots, leaving your skin fuller, cleaner and more radiant," said Gwendoline Kuhatheva, Directress of Technique International.

"Apart from being pleasant and relaxing, the nutrient extract is the ideal preparation for this treatment as it tones and nourishes the skin, also activating cutaneous micro circulation, thus enabling the natural ingredients to absorb faster and easier."

While she was explaining this, I observed a client at the salon who was undergoing the treatment in a tranquil setting of dim pink lights and soft music which are ideal conditions for relaxation. She was totally relaxed, her face free of all stress and tension.

Aromatic extracts with other active complexes are mixed differently to suit the various types of skin in order to obtain a highly active and effective mixture. Different colours of powder mask are available for sensitive, oily, dry and devitalized skin types. Composition of active complex and aromatic extract are modified according to the skin type to improve skin texture.

The nutrient extract in the mask is rich in vegetable oils such as corn, cereal germ, rice bran, camellia, calendula, hazelnut, avocado, olive and jojoba. Vitamin A and E provide the active substances used in tissue regeneration.

Application of the mask is not a difficult one where the recipient has to stay for hours and hours with the mask on.

Just 30 minutes is sufficient for the whole course of action. Mrs. Kuhatheva explaining the steps said that first the white mask, a mixture of one squeeze of the tube of the particular product with the active ingredients and aromatic extracts is brushed on avoiding the eyes and mouth at the base.

This face mask cream does not dry out. It is a neutral base of white clay which contains hydrating agents and cellulose.

A piece of gauze is gently placed over the face before the other mask is applied. This separates the white and green face masks and makes them easy to remove.

The green mask powder, mixed with cold water until perfectly smooth and homogenous is then applied thickly, covering the gauze and equally covering the neck.

The green mask contains Algae, known for toning and astringent properties and Chlorophyll as a freshener. It enables the natural ingredients to penetrate more easily giving a freshening, relaxing sensation. It is different to the white mask and is used to improve the absorption and the mask should be left to dry.

Then it can be peeled off as it becomes rubber like when dry. The white mask is cleansed with a sponge dipped in lukewarm water. Usual facial care is then followed. The client was standing in front of the mirror, looking fresh and relaxed.

"How do you feel?" I asked her. "Never did I anticipate that Styl'mask-2 would leave me so relaxed," she said with a carefree smile.
