Aussie rugby coach Nathan Holman here tomorrow Regional Accreditation and Development Manager of the Australian Rugby Football Union (ARFU) for Queensland, Nathan Holman, will be in Sri Lanka for a 10-day period from Monday courtesy of the International Rugby Board (IRB). The President of the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU), Captain Harsha Mayadunne told the 'Sunday Observer' that Holman, will coach the national pool (15-a-side) on February 12 and 13 and again on February 17. He will also conduct a Level I coaches training programs for those in the Western Province on February 14, and on February 15 and 16 will train the provincial coaches at Longden Place. Holman will be in Galle conducting a training program fro the Ruhunu RFU on February 18, while on February 20, he has a coaching program organised by Sabaragamuwa RFU. These events are being co-ordinated by Arjun Dharmadasa, Chairman of the SLRFU Development Committee. Meanwhile, trials to prune down the national pool to 30 players (it now stands at 62) will be held on Tuesday (February 12) at Longden Place with practices scheduled for tomorrow (Monday). |
