Morris lubricants sponsor Classic Car rally

Morris lubricants of the UK will kick off their first promotional event since its launch in February this year, with the sponsorship of the members day rally of the Classic Car Club of Ceylon. Over 60 Classic Cars are billed to participate at this rally scheduled for the 10th February 2002.

The rally will be flagged off opposite the Viharamahadevi Park at Green Path at 7.00 a.m. on Sunday and will follow an interesting and fairly challenging course of around 50 miles. A detailed course map will be given to each competitor at the start line.

This course has been plotted using a 'Tulip Chart'. Instructions on how a 'Tulip Chart Rally is conducted will be explained to the competitors before the rally. The rally will conclude at the Pegasus Reef Hotel, where over 150 members and their families are expected to lunch. Klevenberg (Pve) Ltd. are the sole agents for Morris lubricants in Sri Lanka.
