The junior throwball team of st. Lawrence's School, Wellawatte left the island on the 4th of February for a one week tour of India. On receiving an invitation from the Throwball Association of India, permission for the tour was granted by the Throwball Association of Sri Lanka.

During the tour, St. Lawrence's School will be playing against some of the junior teams in Bangalore and finally against the Indian junior throwball team.

The junior throwball team of St. Lawrence's School as the only team to participate in the throwball tournament held previously, thus enabling them to go on.
