Ranaviru workshop

A workshop conducted by the Ranaviru Family Counselling Service for war widows of the three services will be held at Viharamaha Devi Balika Vidyalaya in Kandy tomorrow. The workshop to select self employment courses will commence from 2.00 p.m. on Feb. 18th. A number of volunteers have come forward to conduct beauty culture, cookery, pottery and fabric painting, sewing and patch work classes free of charge for the widows.

Air Vice Marshal Harry Goonatilake, President Ranaviru Family Counselling Service said, that letters have been sent to 250 widows in Kandy, Matale and Kegalle districts.
