Kiwis take 2-nil lead

WELLINGTON, Feb 16 (AFP) - New Zealand can wrap up the one-day series with England in Napier on Wednesday after taking a 2-0 lead with a crushing 155 run win in Wellington on Saturday.

Stephen Fleming's side hammered the tourists with ease in the second of five one-day internationals with England dismissed for just 89 after being set a target of 245 for victory under the lights.

It was England's second lowest score in limited overs cricket but it could easily have been worse -- at one point the tourists had slumped to 40-6.

Andrew Flintoff top scored for England with 26 but an abject batting display saw his side dismissed with more than 11 overs remaining.

Craig McMillan had top scored for New Zealand with 69 as the homeside recovered from 52-3 to post 244-8 -the highest ever score at the Westpac Trust Stadium in a one-day international.
