CSE introduces two new sectors The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) will introduce two new sectors in its sector classification with effect from March 15. This will make five companies listed in the CSE subject to a re-classification. Healthcare and Telecommunications will be the two new sectors that will be added as a result of the new classification. Accordingly, the 17 sectors will be increased to 19, with the re-classification of Asha Central Hospitals Ltd., Asiri Hospitals Ltd. and Lanka Hospital Corporation Ltd. under the Healthcare sector and Sri Lanka Telecom and Suntel under the Telecommunications sector. The CSE believes that the re-classification of the sectors will better reflect the business interests of those companies, a CSE news release said. |
