Unemployed grads to sue police Unemployed graduates who were allegedly brutally attacked by the police while on a 'fast unto death' outside "Temple Trees" on Wednesday, are to sue the police for grievous hurt and unlawful arrest. They also plan to lodge a complaint with the UN Human Rights Commission. According to the members of the Joint Union of Unemployed Graduates, 11 members had been taken into police custody, and several others had serious injury. The Colpetty Police, however, denied the allegations of police attack and unlawful arrest, but claimed that the graduates had tried to enter Temple Trees by force. The union members denied trying to force their way into the PM's residence. |
