Holding denies Former West Indies fast bowler Michael Holding has denied accusing Sri Lanka spinner Muttiah Muralitharan of having a doubtful bowling action. Holding, an advisor to the ICC panel dealing with Illegal Deliveries has written to the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) stating that he was misquoted by 'Wisden Cricket Asia' magazine. The BCCSL reacted to the comments made by Holding which appeared in the magazine by complaining to the ICC. They have also complained to the ICC over the remarks made by Bob Woolmer, the ICC's high performance manager on Muralitharan's bowling action. |
