ETF express claim service

The Employees Trust Fund (ETF) will be launching an express claim payment service for the convenience of its members, from next month.

Under the new initiative spearheaded by the new management ETF assures claim payment within two working days for a payment of Rs. 1,000.

This is provided to the employers of the respective applicant who had made contributions up to date with relevant documents submitted by the employer and the ex-employee in order.

ETF's Manager Benefit Administration, Ms. Asoki Wickremasinghe, said that from May 1, this express service would be available with a special counter opened at the ETF office for speedy processing of the application.

She said that the express service would be of immense benefit especially to those members who leave local jobs for employment overseas or migrate and people who want their money fast.
