Sri Lanka 'A' and Kenya in final

Sri Lanka 'A' and Kenya booked their places for Sunday's final of the ICC Six Nations' Challenge Trophy in Windhock, Namibia, after Thursday's preliminary round match between the two teams was abandoned due to rain.

With the points from the match being shared, both Sri Lanka 'A' and Kenya now have 14 points each. The last round robin matches are scheduled for Saturday, but their results would be academic. Third placed Zimbabwe 'A' has only eight points, and is out of contention.

Hosts Namibia, Canada, and the Netherlands are the other three teams in the tournament.

Sri Lanka 'A' continues to head the points table due to a higher net run rate over Kenya.

Thursday's match between Sri Lanka 'A' and Kenya, which was expected to be a dress rehearsal for the final, was evenly poised when rain intervened. Sri Lanka did well to bowl out Kenya for 175 in 47 overs, with Kaushalya Lokuarachchi capturing 5 wickets for 27 runs. But Kenya struck back to have Sri Lanka 'A' on 4 wickets for 74 runs off 23.3 overs before the match was washed out.
