Kapila Kumarage was elected President of the Physical Culture and Bodybuilding Federation (PCBFSL) of Sri Lanka at the annual general meeting held last month.

The other office-bearers of the association are:

Vice-Presidents: S. J. Anton Ebert, Pathmasiri Perera, Velinton Samarasinghe.

Hony Secretary: H. D. A. Gunasekera, Hony. Treasurer: Chandana Athulathge.

The Sports Ministry representative K. S. Peries said that it is time to uplift the standard of bodybuilding in the country and felt that all concerned should get-together and work so that the sport would benefit.

Sri Lanka are expected to participate in the South Asia Bodybuilding Contest to be held in Calcutta towards the end of this month.
