SWISS
takes to the skies
A new international airline of Swiss origin, SWISS took to the skies last month, flying the routes previously flown by Swissair and Crossair. SWISS now offers four weekly code-share flights in co-operation with partner SriLankan Airlines between Colombo and Zurich, with convenient connections to Europe, Africa and the Americas. Baurs Airservices Limited has been nominated as general sales agent for Swiss International airlines. This was revealed at a media briefing last week. With its 45-year long and productive association with Swiss aviation and its vast experience in the airline industry, this decision augurs well for the success of the new airline in Sri Lanka. Baurs Airservices Limited today is large enough to make a positive impact on any organisation it serves, and is still compact enough to provide the highly personalised service that the travel industry demands of a general sales agent. Over the years, it has inculcated all the Swiss values of the airline it represents. |
