team in Colombo
A special delegation from Suzuki Motors Japan has arrived in Sri Lanka to hold talks for future investment and business expansion in Colombo. This follows a visit to Japan by Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister Ravi Karunanayake recently, where he held talks with Chairman and CEO of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Osamu Suzuki. The Minister explained the potential available for the company's growth in Sri Lanka and the government decision to provide relief for future investment here. Mr Suzuki had shown an interest in developing his company's business here. He has pointed out that he would study the proposal of establishing a repair garage, spare parts manufacturing plant and a car assembly plant in Sri Lanka. |
