The first copy of the "Vaishakabhinandana", the Vesak Annual of the State Printing Corporation published for the second year was presented to the Most Ven. Madihe Pannaseeha Maha Nayake Thera at the Siri Vajiragnana Dharmayathanaya, Maharagama, recently.

The Mahanayake Thera commending the work of the State Printing Corporation stressed the importance of such meritorius acts. " There is a decrease in the interest shown in Buddhism by the Buddhists at present and there are many reasons for it. But it is the duty of all buddhists to adhere to the teaching of the Buddha and do all what is possible to spread the damma.

Chairman of the State Printing Corporation A.M.S.Misba, Manager Publicastions and editor of the Magazine Ranjith Gunasekera, Manager Administration H.Ariyasena were also present. The Magazine consists of useful and valuable religious articles to mark Vesak celebrations.
