SACK beat Kingswood 18/12 by S. M. JIFFREY ABDEEN - Kandy Sports Corr St. Anthony's College, Kandy came up with fine display to defeat Kingswood College by 18 points (3 tries, 1 penalty) to 12 (4 penalties) in their schools under 19 Milo Trophy 'A' division rugby tournament match played at the Bogambara Stadium, in Kandy. At the breather the Antonians led 8-6. Though beaten in the linesouts the Antonians held their own in the scrums and loose play to rack the Kingswoodians who only last week held the strong Wesley college to a draw. Wesley, in turn beat the Antonians earlier this month. Thus upsets continu in this tournament. |
