Two blasts in Afghan capital, no word on injuries KABUL, June 29 (Reuters) - Two explosions rocked the Afghan capital on Saturday and were believed to have originated near the airport, witnesses and the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said. "We have sent out a team to investigate and to talk to nearby residents," ISAF spokesman Major Steve Odell told Reuters. "We have no more information." The ISAF has been responsible for security in Kabul since shortly after the former ruling Taliban were forced from power late last year. |
