A CHILL-OUT MUSIC FAN

The Blue Elephant night club is a second home to DJ Kapila who has been at the Hilton Colombo for fifteen years now. A product of Richmond College, Galle, he is a health food fan, eats food that suits his 'blood group'. To him the meaning of life is to make people happy like in the hospitality trade and he in turn is most happy when his good friends are around him.....

Name: DJ Kapila (Kapila Mohotti - Asst. F & B Manager, Hilton Colombo)
Birthday: January 8
Status: Married
Fav. Colour: Blue
Trendy outfits: Yes, in designer wear. I like body shaped outfits.
Fav. music: Chill-out music
Fav. song of 1990s: - 'Thinking about you' - by Kenny Thomas.

Qualities you like in a girl:- She should be figure conscious and fashion conscious. Cool tempered with a lot of patience and peaceful in nature.

Top tip on becoming a star DJ:- Be selective and play for people who know DJ music.

If you could change anything about yourself what would it be:- I like the way I am - 6 foot 1 inch in height with a slim body, long legs and broad shoulders. I'd like to change to my 20s.

What would you do if you ruled the world: - I'd make sure everyone is healthy and happy.

What would you have liked to have been in a past life:- A bird flying about with a lot of freedom.

Who do you admire in life:- My father. He is 76 years old and he travels alone from Galle to Colombo to see me. He is more healthy than I with no complaint of sugar, pressure and stress.

When you are not working what keeps you awake at night:- The TV and CNN and cups of green tea before I could fall asleep.

What magazine do you make it a point to read: Gossip magazines.

Which character would you like to play in a film: A millionaire enjoying the luxury of life.

What do you think life will be like in the year 3000:

There won't be music only sounds. Men and women are scantily dressed today so when 3000 comes around they will be in the nude. I wish I will be there! What would be your greatest achievement: To have a hundred million rupees in the bank and chill out in life.

Do you think you, Harith and Naushad will still be mates when you are 70 years.

Definitely. KNH will still be there together.
