If you are one of those light footed dance enthusiast who enjoys dancing the jive, then make a date with Nimal and the Equals on Fridays at the Supper Club, Lanka Oberoi. The band's repertoire is vintage based - songs that were the rage in the 60s and 70s, which gives you the opportunity not only to jive but also waltz and quickstep your way through to the early hours of dawn. It all begins to happen at 8.30 p.m. at the Supper Club, which is ideal for the older music lovers to fall in and get into the action right away. What's more if "I'm sending You a Big Bouquet of Roses" is your favourite haunting melody, then you can be sure you can request Nimal and the Equals to sing it specially for you. The young dance enthusiasts too can enjoy and appreciate the music of the 60s and 70s. The band commenced their gigs on Fridays, from June 28 and the Supper Club has exciting competitions and prizes lined up for your entertainment. |
