Sarvodaya youth meeting point in Jaffna

Youth Meeting Point, a unique youth camp organised by the Sarvodaya Peace Secretariat will be held on August 6 and 7 at the Jaffna heartland, the Kopai Maha Vidyala grounds.

It is hoped that about 500 youth from Sarvodaya villages would be present under the theme "Religion and Art for a Permanent Peace".

The culminating point of this unique camp for youth is the conducting of "Bhavana" at the Kali Amman Kovil by Sarvodaya Leader Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne. The people living in the Jaffna peninsula and those coming to Jaffna from the four corners of the country are expected to participate at the "Bhavana" session. As a part of camp there will be the distribution of bicycles to 100 pre-school teachers and there will an exhibition of posters to add colour to the activities of the day.
