Growth in retail industry

Sri Lanka's retail industry is perhaps one of the most well defined in the region and the closest in comparison with that of the first world countries, Marketing Manager Jaykay Marketing Suresh Jayawardene said.

"The whole industry is witnessing a very robust growth rate and retail customers have now come to expect nothing but pioneering and innovative concepts. This is what Keells Super is fulfilling," he said. JayKay Marketing is associated with Keells Super through various promotions.

The Dream Draw promotion was launched recently by Keells Super to reward loyal customers. It follows last year's 'Go Bananas' promotion, said to be the first of its kind to be launched by a supermarket chain in Sri Lanka.

"This year's Dream Draw campaign is a result of customer feedback," said Director Jaykay Marketing Rajeeve Dharmendra.

He said the prizes offered in this year's promotion were based on customer feedback as to what they would like to win as a prize. The winner of the Grand Draw can select a prize out of three options.
