Jith Wanigasekera with 42 points won the overall championship of the first Nokia Stableford Golf Tournament and won the Nokia challenge Trophy - the group 'B' Trophy, an airline ticket from SriLankan Airlines and a Nokia phone.

The other category winners were: Sarath Wickremaratne - the group 'A' winner with Mural Ismail as runner-up, Wenders Shieh - the group 'B' runner-up, Caesar Fernando with 40 points was the winner of group 'C' with D.M. Hettiarachchi as runner-up, and in the Seniors section, N. Chandraratne was the winner with Dr. K.K.U. Perera as runner-up.

The other winners of awards were: Nearest to the Pin: (4 feet): Murad Ismail and the Longest Drive (337 yards) by Omar Mansoor. All received Nokia phones with a crystal trophy being awarded to the winners.
