Bless 'em all

One hundred and twenty six years of existence for an academic institution is more than a good-enough-reason to celebrate. And to celebrate this landmark in their history, Bishop's College, Colombo will stage a musical concert 'Bless 'em all' at their auditorium from September 12 to September 15. In the forefront of this production which will represent every age and class in the school is the acclaimed Mary Ann David who is the chorus director of the concert. She has carefully selected the music items to give the production a fresh aura.

Featured in 'Bless'em all' will be a condensed version of Mary Poppins with most of its well known songs and selections from Broadway Musicals. To those young at heart there are trips to the Shirley Temple era and to the fantasy world of Disney. More than 250 children will be participating with the veteran Oosha Saravanamuttu's exciting choreography moving from the age of the Charleston, through rock'n'roll to modern jazz. Beatrice Devasagayam will co-ordinate the production.
