Purple Rings swing 
down south

Playing a repertoire of the music of the sixties, seventies and the eighties and contemporary popular songs the newly formed Purple Rings is a four piece outfit from Panadura. According to the leader and guitarist Nishtha Lakmal Fernando the band has found success within a short period of time and performs at Eden Spa Hotel, Moragalla, Lihiniya Surf Hotel, Bentota and at Royal Palms Hotel, Kalutara. The other members of the team of musicians are Nalin Fernando - keyboards, Chamara Mendis - bass guitar and Asanka Lakmal - vocals.
