CSE website relaunched

The official Website of the Colombo Stock Exchange (www.cse.lk) was relancuhed last week. "The new site is a timely adjunct to the renewed buoyancy in the market and will add value to the information content", the news release said. the site will offer new functionalities and design features to its visitors.

It will provide up-to-date market information with graphical representation of each market day. Highlights of the redesign include value added features such as company profile searches and symbol look-ups which provide fast access to individual profiles of the companies listed on the CSE, a new streamlined user-friendly navigation system that allows visitors to navigate around the site faster and easier and a site-wide search facility that will make it easy for visitors to find information on any topic.

The new site was developed by Affno as part of the e-business solution envisaged for the CSE. Phase two of the proposed web solution will see Affno developing sophisticated web software for comprehensive personalised market data distribution services, enabling the CSE to disseminate live market information.

Other new features launched last week include a facility to order stock market publications on line.

The new site is hosted by Sri Lanka Telecom, which will add value by providing uninterrupted access to the site.
