Takes up Lebanon pageant : Sebastian Perera does Sri Lanka proud

Sebastian Perera the Franchise Director of Miss Tourism International Pageant has been invited by Upside Down Production of Lebanon to hold the Miss Tourism International Beauty Pageant for the first time in Lebanon, next year.

He was entrusted with holding the pageant in Lebanon after Danny S. Dagher of Upside Down Production Lebanon met Perera and Charlie See of Hollywood who is the founder of Miss Tourism International during the pageant in Sri Lanka.

With his expertise Perera will also be responsible for flying in 60 beauty queens from around the world to Lebanon. He is also the Franchise Director for eleven more beauty pageants held around the world. He said that all contestants before taking part in the Pageant must be winners of another pageant which is a must.

No doubt Perera is proud to organise the event which is a good exposure for Sri Lanka.

An excellent marketer with an outstanding track record he was picked up by Max Factor as its exclusive representative in Sri Lanka and later became the first Asian to be appointed as Gala's Far East Manager, based in Singapore/Malaysia, for five of its brands, Max Factor, Out Door Girl, Gala, Mary Quant and Miners of London.

He was entrusted with promoting the brands in Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, Bangkok, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

This is what dragged him to beauty pageants as he made use of international pageants to promote various brands of cosmetics. He was trained by Maxfactor as a beauty consultant and a trainer to train gentlemen to be top executives.

Perera returned to Sri Lanka in 1978, after working for 15 years and incorporated with Celsin Ltd. as a franchisee of beauty pageants, tenders and marketing, project development and up-market recruitment.

He had in the past judged many beauty pageants overseas in Vienna, Germany, Russia, U.K. and Malaysia, to name a few. He is the franchise holder of Miss Asia International Pageant and is the Franchise Director for Queen of the World, Miss Globe International, Miss World University, American Dream Festival, Miss Bikini International, Dream Girl of the Year, Miss Model of Models, Miss All Nations, Miss Model of the World, Queen of the Year and Miss Hawai Tropic, all owned by Charlie See for the last 40 years.
