Chandani in Concert

Chandani singing along with Sunil Perera, Sohan Weerasinghe and Mariazelle at her Live in Concert with C&C Musical Blend held at the BMICH on Saturday September 28. The concert was telecast live on Channel Eye. Chandani along with Sohan, Sunil and Mariazelle are seen in the picture singing Thank You for the Music as the finale to the concert.

Just before that there was a rousing non stop baila session, sung by these artistes which was lapped up by the audience. Chandani in her inimitable style sang two Abba medleys, the popular I'm Alive, By the Rivers of Babylon, Sinhala favourites including tracks from her latest CD and popular Hindi Songs. Sohan Weerasinghe who chose to duet with Chandani sang 'Time of Your Life' and also picked on the Tom Jones hit 'Delilah' which was well appreciated by the audience. Mariazelle performed 'She works hard for the money' while Sunil selected two of his original Sinhala songs to captivate the audience.

The colourful backdrop on stage complemented the scintillating performance of Chandani with C & C Musical Blend.
