Flower power what ?

In a flower power mood - Jayasri with Juliet

Off the beaten track and original in their compositions, Jayasri tell us that their two singles 'Womanizer' and 'Juliet' are seen on MTV Europe, Viva and other European music TV Channels. The video clips which were shot in location in Sri Lanka at Induruwa, Balapitiya, Marawila and Mahawewa showcase the scenic beauty of these places as well, to a European market.

The song 'Womanizer' is about three ugly guys who try to attract girls with their mean tricks but fail at every attempt. 'Juliet' seen in the picture in a flower power mood, is about an European beauty Juliet who found three lovers and happy memories in the Paradise Island. 'Womanizer' sung by Banditos Bonitos, was scheduled for worldwide release in October through BMG Ariola and Planet Entertainment according to Jayasri. In the beginning of 2003 the group intend releasing their album 'Most Wanted'. Looking back on the happenings this year, the three members of Jayasri are of the opinion that August was a lucky month for them.

Their song 'Get High' was accepted by MTV, NBC and VIVA and has moved into the charts in Europe including Germany and Austria. The song has reached No. 1 status in the Australian DJ charts, they tell us.

Their project 'Ravers on Dope' with Europe's popular DJ Taylor and Flow (a brother duo) saw the group go live at 'Priviledge' the highly rated club in Ibiza, in a show titled 'The Sound of the Island Ibiza-Summer 2002'. which was live on RTL channel throughout Europe.
