Weladamen Diyunuweemata Maga (Way to prosper through trade), his biography, was introduced as a guidebook to prosper in trade.

The book was launched at the BMICH and the first copy of the book was received by Southern Region Development Minister Ananada Kularatne. It was introduced by the Director of Post-Graduate Institute of Management Prof. Gunapala Nanayakkara and Dr. Uditha Liyanage.

The book explains how Hettigoda began his business with a little money he borrowed from one of his relatives and how he became world famous as the 'Balm king of Sri Lanka'.

It consists of 33 chapters.

The book also covers all areas a business person must know. Hettigoda has presented the facts in an interesting way which can be easily understood by both new and experienced entrepreneurs.
