Funeral rites will be held at Mahinda Florist Mt Lavinia and cremation will take place at Mount Lavinia Cemetery on 10.11.2002 at 2 p.m.

Eldest son of the late Mr. Konesapillai and Mrs. Sinnathangam, beloved husband of Packiyaletchumi (Retired Teacher), father of Thayalan (Australia), Dr. Nimalan (National Hospital, Colombo), late Nadesan, Kesavan (Australia) and Dr. Arunthathy (National Zoological Gardens, Dehiwala), father-inlaw of Sumathy (Australia), Jeyandradevi, Dr. Thayalini (Australia) and Dr. Ponnusamy (Nawaloka & Ruhunu Hospitals), beloved grandfather of Chrisanthi, Visakan (Australia), Brinda, Kavitha and Raguwaren, death occured in Sydney, Australia on 4th November 2002. He is the brother of Mr. M.K. Sellarajah, J.P.U.M. (Attorney-at-Law & Trustee, Konesar Temple), Kamalanayagam, Jegasothymalar & Inbamalar of Trincomalee. The remains will be brought from Sydney and lie at   A.F. Raymonds Funeral Parlour, Borella between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. on Sunday, 10th November, 2002 an thereafter removed to his residence for interment at the Hindu Cemetery, Trincomalee at 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday 12th November 2002. Mohideen and Marhooma Noorul (Hamza, father of Shareefa, Zahida, Najla, Ayesha and Hisham, father-inlaw of Mifthah, Ikram and Izzadeen, brother of Marhooma Ummu Naseeha, Marhoom Nizar, Jazeema, Marhoom Farook, Marhooma Sithy Faiza, Buhari, Fahmie, Noor Ruwaiza and Muzeer. Beloved husband of Lilian, loving father of Sriyan (Australia) and Duleep, father-in-law of Ramona and Kusum, precious grandfather of Iresha, Sonali and Devina, brother of late Felix, Ella, Tiddy, Lionel, Felicia, Monica, Mildred and Irene, entered glory. Remains will lie at   21/8, Sri Soratha Mawatha, Gangodawila, Nugegoda till 7.00 a.m. on Monday 11th, thereafter at A.F. Raymonds Funeral Parlour. Service at 3.00 p.m. Thereafter for burial at General Cemetery, Kanatte (General Section).

Beloved husband of late Vimala (Retired School of Agriculture for Girls, Kundasale), loving father of Ingrid (Italy), father-in-law of late Tyronne Jayakody, Vinod (American Embassy) and Dionne, precious grandpapa of Richard (Italy), brother of late Arthur, Stanley, Pearl and of Oswald and Shirley, brother-in-law of Sumana, Heather, Paul, Elsie and Bridget, son of late Simon and Miriam Fernando of Negombo.
