A no fuss, easy-on-the-purse Internet TV facility has been launched in Sri Lanka by Lanka Ecom Technologies Limited, a Ceylinco Consolidated Company.

The unit comprises an easy-to-install set-top-box and remote keyboard that can convert any colour television set into an Internet TV, enabling the user to browse the Internet, chat online and send and receive e-mail without having to invest in a computer.

The Ceylinco Internet TV is sold with a free Internet connection.

Lanka Ecom Technologies would provide a one-year warranty on the unit, and has set up a help desk and a 24-hour customer service hotline to assist users of the facility.
