In town- from Oz

A former member of The Bohemians, vocalist/saxophonist Loxly Atton was in Sri Lanka recently with his multi instrumentalist son Andre to spend a nostalgic holiday and meet up with their friends in the music scene.

Andre with his lovely wife Adele decided to spend their honeymoon in Sri Lanka, a country that holds many happy memories for the family. A talented musician Andre leads Citizen Dog a rock/funk band comprising four members and extremely popular in Sydney, Australia with youth audiences. All their music are original compositions and their first CD is now, says Andre 'receiving airplay on Australia's top radio stations. The band is currently recording the second CD which hopefully will be released by the end of January 2003". The CD 'Citizen Dog' contains enthusiastic extended rock-funk tracks titled 'Get Up', 'Toe the Line', 'Come Down My Girl' and 'Boom Boom.'

The members are Andre Atton who plays bass, keyboards, guitar and trumpet. Darren Ally is on lead vocals and guitar. Ivan D'Amico plays guitars as well with Mark D'Amico on drums and percussion. Loxly Atton sends out his regards to his musician friends he couldn't meet up with and is determined to make another visit to Sri Lanka.
