COLOMBO, Dec 28 (AFP) - Sri Lanka's foreign ministry has summoned the US envoy here to protest against the behaviour of a drunken US marine who allegedly attacked motorists and smashed windows, officials said Saturday.

Charge d'Affaires Long Lee was summoned Friday to hear a protest over the unidentified marine officer who allegedly assaulted a driver employed by the ministry. There was no immediate reaction from the US embassy.
