Today is the final day of the National Dance Festival, a program organised by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Education and Cultural Affairs which commenced on December 27 at the Viharamahadevi Park, under the patronage of Minister Dr. Karunasena Kodituwakku.

The first round conducted at provincial level where foreign dancing troupes from India, Nepal and Pakistan participated at the festival. Artistes from the North and East will also represent this year's pageant.

A cultural exhibition at the Arts Gallery with a display of instruments and products manufactured by cultural centres along with a series of seminars have been arranged by professional dance artistes at the John de Silva Memorial Theatre. (DW)
